Wishing you a Happy Holiday!

Wishing you a happy holiday

It’s today! It’s today!

I love Christmas. From classic movies (Christmas Vacation, Home Alone and Die Hard) to hanging stockings and (too way many) sweets.

This Christmas includes a few firsts for me. I hosted a holiday party for my team and my family is coming to my house for the holidays. Lots of preparation and stress surrounding the season of giving.

The gratitude of my team, the joy of my son for that just right gift, or my family enjoying how I decorated my home…they are all gifts I receive in return. It’s all about finding the joy, even in the midst of what could otherwise be stressful.

This year, I will cherish even more, after my first Christmas without my son last year. It reminds me that the holidays can also bring sadness and grief.

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas today. I hope you are taking some time this season to take care of yourself, find joy, and celebrate with your loved ones. If you are struggling today, I hope you find solace and support in those around you.
