Happy Holidays 2

Happy Holidays

The emails are all sent

And my out of office is on.

Work can survive without me

It’s time to be a mom.

The checklist is nearly there

Only one or two things left.

Wrapping to do, always to do

It’s not what I like best.

I’m ready for family time

The gang is all together.

Hope the house can contain us

And all our love and laughter.

Can’t wait for Christmas morning

Watching the little one’s joy.

I love the magic and wonder

In unwrapping a simple toy.

Remember this holiday season

That time is quickly fleeting.

Spend it with family and friends

Rather than blogs or tweeting.

I wish you all the best,

No matter how you celebrate.

So here’s to a wonderful holiday

And a new year that’s wicked great!
