I am Kristin Hendrix, your guide to living and leading authentically.
When I started my leadership journey, I was a young civilian working for the Marine Corps. My focus from the beginning was leading change – transforming what was into what could be – in an environment where no one looked or lived as I did.
Over time, the world has changed some, though not enough. Leadership has evolved as well. From those early beginnings, I adjusted my approach to work in public and private sector organizations, non-profits, multi-nationals, and start-ups. Along the way, I became a coach and mentor to guide others on their leadership journey.
My goal is to create a positive and lasting impact on those around me. I want to use my gifts of storytelling and connection to change the world, one person at a time.
I believe stories connect us and offer light in uncertain times. LeadershipVITAE became the platform to share relatable stories to navigate that uncertainty. Whether it’s providing a light in the darkness on our personal journeys or helping make leadership feel more accessible.
In addition to leading change, coaching, and writing, I’m also a mother, health nut, traveler, and occasional photographer. I have a young son named Henry, whose exploits periodically feature in my stories.
