I started my leadership journey over twenty years ago, as a young civilian working for the Marine Corps. My focus from the beginning was leading change – transforming what was into what could be.
Years later, I have adjusted the early learnings from the Marine Corps into a leadership approach that can work in any setting – private, public, non-profit or entrepreneurial.
For most of the last two decades, I have shared my learnings with those I work with. My goal was to create a positive and lasting impact on those around me, in every role and every organization. I wanted to change the world, one person at a time.
In 2011, I decided to share my ideas with the world. I typically post 2 days a week, one practical article and one inspirational one. To make sure you don’t miss out, please sign up for my newsletter. You’ll receive a weekly roundup of all posts, and early access to any new tools before they are available to the public.
In addition to leading change, and writing about it, I’m also a wife, mother, daughter, sister and occasional photographer. My husband, Chris, and I have been married for over a decade. We have a young son named Henry, whose exploits periodically feature in my writings.
If you’d like to know more about me personally, you can follow me on Instagram and Pinterest. While I do post leadership-related content, I also post and save images related to my interests and life outside of work and writing.
Thank you again for visiting. I hope you find my insight, tools and models useful in your own leadership journeys and will commit with me to living and leading authentically. Each of us has the ability to transform ourselves and the world around us. I’d love to help you realize your gifts and change the world.
